If you come to the boardwalk, you have to rent a bike and go for an early morning ride.
We've stayed at the Malibu Motel (right off the boardwalk on E. 19th Avenue) since I was a kid. Every year, we pick a morning and rent bikes from FCJ Bike Rental. They are VERY reasonably priced, the staff members are extremely friendly and helpful, and they have every type of bike you could imagine. I'll never rent bikes from anywhere other than here while in Wildwood! This is hands down one of my favorite traditions, and has now become one of my daughter's as well!
