Great prices and variety
On top of that, the place was decently gross. It had numerous flies and there was a huge puddle of something blue in front of the registers for the entire time we were there that no one attempted to clean up. All in all, I don't think I've ever had someone be so rude to me. So if you look under the age of forty, I don't recommend. We ended up going to a place a couple blocks away that was cleaner and friendlier.
Came in with my boyfriend and his two brothers. The cashier decided that the one ID was fake because it "has the code all the fake IDs have". They scanned it, the system said it wasn't fake, the lady called back the ?manager? who pulled out a book to identify if it was real. The ID (being real) did pass all of the criteria for an ID. The lady threatened to call the cops. We said she could since it was real. After five minutes of saying she would call the cops, she told him to leave and that they wouldn't serve him.
Good selection. A little dirty inside, but what you would expect from an island liquor store.
No prices on beer in frig...told beer prices fluctuate ....????
I checked out what I was holding right after. My ID was thorough scrutinized (from a different state) and I was asked a couple questions, including "Well why are you here??" I was then not allowed to buy beer because that is what my boyfriend's brother wanted to buy. I then tried to buy a lime and was told to leave because she had already served me and I would have to deal and go somewhere else. My boyfriend was then also refused service because "she has the right". All of this was done very rudely and loudly (on her end).
